A large modern extension of an existing traditional house close to the Killin end of Loch Tay. This innovative project required the construction of a large steel and composite decking V-shaped external area to give panoramic views of the fishpond and loch beyond. The decking was edged in a freestanding glass balustrade. The existing house was completely refurbished with a new kitchen with significant upgrades to the insulation throughout. The extension was a timber-framed construction covered in wooden cladding built on the edge of a challenging slope. A new stove was installed in the large lounge including a bar area. Substantial electrical works to include a solar array set on the nearby oak framed garage and the new external hot tub.
